Rector Demolishes Southside

The Rector, Sir Richard Sykes, personally started demolition of Southside last Thursday, 6 October. Sir Richard donned a hard hat and fluorescent jacket before climbing into a Bobcat and ceremoniously drilling the first hole into the Southside Halls build

'Southside bar' saved!

The `Save Our Southside' campaign has successfully forced the relocation of Southside bar to the ground floor of Linstead hall.

Tube and bus fares to rise again

London's bus and tube fares are set to increase again next year. Single Tube journeys will cost £3 rising from the current £2, and single bus fares will rise from £1.20 to £1.50.

Theft overshadows successful freshers' fayre for RSM

Some time between Monday 5.20pm and 11am Tuesday morning over £300 cash and £975 in cheques was stolen from the RSM C&SC office. The money, which was in a white cashbox, was stolen from a cupboard within the RSM Office.
