Felix syndication trial
Felix is currently testing the idea of using an RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feed so that you can easily and quickly catch up with the week's news at a glance.
RSS is an easy way of seeing the top stories in Felix and on other news sites, such as the BBC. It shows you a list of headlines and brief details about the article, as well as a link to the relevant article's page. This saves you the trouble of visiting the site and browsing through the headlines and articles. Eventually, we aim to have a seperate feed for each section of Felix, so you can keep up-to-date with all of the latest stories in your favourite areas.
Sounds good. How do I get this "feed"?
Users of the Firefox browser may have noticed the "Live bookmark" icon in the bottom corner is now highlighted when browsing the Felix website. Similarly, Opera users may have noticed the "RSS" icon in the address bar. Other browsers may differ in the way they allow you to access the feed.

There are also specialist programs that can be used to read the newsfeeds, including (taken from Wikipedia):
- Lektora (Windows, Mac and Linux)
- RSSReader (Windows)
- WinRSS (Windows)
- MiNews (Mac)
- Straw (Linux, Gnome)
- Akregator (Linux, KDE)
Please note that Felix does not endorse any of these - they are simply a selection from the Wikipedia list. Also, all of the above programs are free. Whatever you use, the RSS feed can be accessed at the following link:
